About Diploma in Electrical Engineering

The Diploma course in Electrical Engineering which started in 2013 which covers various aspects of electrical fields such as Electrical Machine, Power System Protection, Electrical instrumentation and Power Electronics in which Electrical Machines Lab and Electrical Workshop are the Department's traditional and modern laboratories. In this lab students can learn a variety of practical aspects of Electrical engineering. To accomplish our Vision and Mission we offer appealing educational programmes that teach students everything from the fundamentals of electrical engineering to advanced technologies.

Message from the Head of Department

Dear Students,

Electrical Engineering is a vibrant department that has transformed the way we live and work. Electrical engineering is the study of the generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization of electrical energy. The Electrical Engineering Department was established with the goal of providing students with practical knowledge of important technical aspects in collaboration with various electrical industries and power sector companies, allowing them to specialize in the field. The Department of Electrical Engineering at VIEAT, ANITA offers a vibrant environment for Diploma education in Electrical Engineering established in 2013.The Department is well equipped laboratories of Basic of Electrical Engineering, Electrical Machines, Electrical Workshop, Electrical Measurement, Power system Protection and Power Electronics. The Department has a healthy mixture of young and experienced faculty members. All of them display high levels of enthusiasm and dedication. Apart from teaching the faculties are actively involved in organizing technical workshops, seminars, expert lectures and field visits to create an environment conducive to experiential learning.
