Details of the Event:

An educational visit of Civil Tech Veritas Private Limited, Surat is organized on 1st October, 2025. Around 20 students and 1 faculty have visited the Civil Tech Veritas Laboratory. In first session Mr. Gopal Palliwal gave brief introduction of Civil Tech Veritas Laboratory and told students which sevices are provided by the Laboratory. After that Miss Kinjal Patel explained various tests of Aggregates. She performed Aggregate Impact Value Test and Crushing Value Test of Aggregate.

In the second session Miss Vidisha Shah explained importance of Test of concrete. She performed Compressive Test of concrete. Mr. Ayush Patel explained various tests of bitumen. Students get practical and detailed knowledge of various test by Mr. Ayush patel and Miss Kinjal Patel who are employees at Civil Tech Veritas Laboratory and also Alumni. They briefly explain existing testing instruments used at Civil Tech Veritas Laboratory.

Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The visit to Civil Tech Veritas Laboratory significantly enhanced students' practical understanding of material testing and its critical role in civil engineering. It bridged the gap between academic learning and field application, reinforcing the importance of precision, standards, and safety in engineering practices.

Outcome of the event:

The Civil Tech Veritas Laboratory provides hands-on learning in construction material testing, ensuring accuracy and quality in civil engineering works. Students and professionals perform a variety of tests, including those on aggregates to check strength and durability, and bitumen tests to assess consistency, penetration, and softening point for road construction. Concrete testing covers compressive strength, slump, and other practical evaluations, giving real-world insights into material behavior. Through practical exposure, learners gain technical skills and understanding of standard procedures. Emphasis is also placed on safety measures during testing, highlighting their importance in preventing accidents and ensuring reliable, error-free results.
